My first ever silk screened arts are now officially on sale. Instead of just having one, I did two at once... the three color "Problem With Renters" and the eight color "Escape From Chocolate Mountain" on blue paper. Both of these were originally designed for Beeswax Magazine, were recently printed by D&L Screenprinting. They did an incredible job on them. So check them out, they are in the store.

Photos from opening night of the Art of Musical Maintenance at the Goodfoot in Portland, Oregon are now up in our Sightings section. The show runs through January 28th, 2008, so if you are in their neighborhood, be sure and stop by to see it in person.

I'll be posting our artwork from this year's 91X Nightmare Before Xmas in the portfolio shortly.

Wow! My design on shirt.woot.com sold out awfully fast. If you missed your chance to get it, don't fret just yet. They gave me a link that will get you to the shirt starting tonight at midnight CT (or again, 10pm for those of us on the West Coast). The only catch is that it's now $15, but that still includes shipping and is printed on American Apparel. Not too shabby. It's not going to be up there for very long, so don't miss out a second time...

HCG's shirt.woot.com super secret link!

Big, big news... later this week, one of my drawings will be featured on a shirt over at shirt.woot.com. They feature one shirt design per day on their home page... I don't know what day mine will be up there yet, but I do know these Woots have a tendency to sell out quick. And why not... the first day they are only $10 (including shipping), plus they are printed on American Apparel. Hard deal to beat. So consider this your warning. They go on sale at Midnight CT every night (or 10pm PT for those of us on the West Coast).

So that was the motivation I needed to finally get around to this latest batch of website updates. First of all, there are SEVEN new concert posters for sale, including HCG's very first ever silk screened poster! (It's the pirate one for DenverFest.) Also, the Detroit Cobras posters that just got posted today are almost already gone... I only have about five left, so if you want one of those don't put it off. Once they are gone, they are gone.

The portfolio is pretty much up to date now. The artwork for the great new American Steel album, their first in five years, is up. There are also a bunch of new t-shirt designs, a few more logos, and the long-awaited beer bottle label we did for Spring House Brewery.

The Blade Runner screening at POP Thursdays at MoPA next month is getting moved until sometime in 2008, but the good news is they are screening the Big Lebowski instead! It's all happening November 15th, so mark your calendars. And in February, they are following it up with Harold and Maude. So now I get to do artwork for both of those too. I will try to post the designs as soon as they are done... probably in the next couple of weeks. We will also be building a website for POP Thursdays in the near future, so keep an eye out for that.
