After much success with Hand Carved Magazine, Michael organized a concert for Pretty Girls Make Graves during an early tour in January 2001. To promote the show, he made a concert poster and unknowingly started what was to become Hand Carved Graphics.
Within two months, he began doing all of the concert posters for Chain Reaction, teamed up with long-time friend Mark Kearns, and the two never looked back. Before the end of the year, Michael was a part of his first art show and along with Mark began developing websites.
Today the two handle everything from custom website development and corporate identity to print design. Their work has been on display throughout the country and has been published in Swag 2: Rock Posters of the '90s and Beyond, Electric Frankenstein!
